Week 6 HD Remix

There's tons of scenes that I would like to redraw, this being one of them. Due to time constraints I had to get scenes done as fast as possible, because I knew I wanted to spend more time on the post production and switching up scenes I didn't like in the animatic. So basically here's what made the final cut and the one above is what I really wanted it to look like.

One of the greatest musicians of all time. Thriller holds the record for most albums ever sold, so if you want to dispute that statement just talk to the 109 million and counting that bought that album. I constantly listen to Thriller and Off the Wall when I'm drawing or animating. Zack R and I would throw on Off the Wall down in the labs to keep us awake when we pulled all nighters animating. I quickly drew this one while watching some of his iconic music videos on MTV. Guess what video this image is from.

Space Kicks aka Round 17

Another space girl, except this time it was for the Draw-Off competition. I prefer the sketch over the colored one.

Azula

What no lightning today Azula!

Back from the Diz Gibran/Pacific Division/ The Clipse concert. So I finished this up real quick and well here it is. Avatar the Last Air Bender is in my all time favorites. It is without question one of the best cartoons ever made.

White Stars

Now I'm just getting lazy with the backgrounds. This is old and I just fixed it up, finally. So I drew this first and then I felt it was boring so then I drew the one below called Sai.

While rendering out some old animation I sketched this and then cleaned it up. There's another drawing that goes along this one, I'll post it tomorrow .

Scene 1 Pan

Background painted by Zack Wong. This is the opening shot of my thesis film, that never would of happen without JP, Lenny and Zack convincing me to animate this scene that I had originally cut out. The original had very bad drawing of the character, so I finally got a chance to fix it.

Violent Stars

UPDATE: I did some tweaking. I don't know which one I like more.

This looked better in my head. That hover board thing is based off a shoe, yup that's right a shoe. The Nike Air Max Penny 1. So is her color palette.
